SUMMARY:
Are you a seasoned professional who can seamlessly plan & coordinate weddings & corporate functions from concept to execution?

Our client in the Cape Winelands is seeking a hands-on Senior Wedding & Events Planner & Coordinator to lead and plan bespoke weddings and corporate functions for international and local clients.

This role requires a highly organised, detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple events, build strong client relationships and ensure flawless execution on the day.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

Matric, and tertiary qualification in Event Management (highly advantageous)
Valid SA driver's license and own transport
Minimum 5+ years’ experience in wedding and corporate functions planning, preferably in luxury or high-end events
Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
Strong organisational, communication and negotiation skills
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities:

Consult with clients to understand their vision and create tailored concepts
Plan and manage all aspects of events, including timelines, budgets and logistics
Source, negotiate with, and manage vendors and suppliers
Oversee event setup, coordination and breakdown on the wedding/event day
Coordinate with internal teams (chef, kitchen, décor team etc)
Ensure exceptional client service and a seamless, high-quality experience

Salary: R negotiable dependent on experience
