SUMMARY:
Our client, a well-established player in the industrial manufacturing sector, is seeking a reliable and technically strong MIS Administrator / Technician to support and maintain their IT and operational technology (OT) environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-paced, systems-driven environment and has a solid mix of infrastructure, database, and scripting experience.

POSITION INFO:

Duties & Responsibilities

Manage and maintain IT and OT systems across the business
Administer and support databases, networks (LAN/WAN), and cloud-based platforms
Perform system monitoring, maintenance, and patch management
Develop and maintain scripts to automate processes and improve system efficiency
Generate and manage reports using SQL and reporting tools
Ensure compliance with data security and privacy standards
Troubleshoot system, network, and application issues
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support business systems and production environments

Desired Experience & Qualification

Degree
Proven working experience as an IT/OT Administrator, System Administrator, or in a similar role
Strong experience with:
- Databases (especially Microsoft SQL Server)
- Network infrastructure (LAN/WAN)
Ability to create scripts and work with:
- VB.NET
- HTML
- Microsoft SQL Server
- SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)
- A+ or other relevant technologies/languages
Solid understanding of internet security and data privacy principles
