SUMMARY:
Our client a Media concern, based on the heart of Sandton, is looking for a Senior Management Accountant to join their team.

POSITION INFO:

Experience & Requirements:

B. Compt Honours/ CTA and articles
Minimum 5 years post articles experience in a commercial and fast paced environment
Candidate must be very hands on and have a good understanding of all policies, procedures and reporting requirements.

Duties and responsibilities include:

Direct day to day management & oversight of the group finance reporting function
Responsibility for timely and accurate financial reporting including forecasts and budgets
Design, implementation and maintenance of internal controls
Corporate Governance & legal / contractual compliance with specific emphasis on Income Tax, VAT and PAYE
Optimisation of working capital, capital expenditure & cash management
Commercial support to COO and MD''s (Feasibilities)
Optimisation of BEE scorecard and monitoring and management of BBBEE reporting
Annual Financial Statement Drafting and CIPC Compliance
Compilation and preparation of quarterly board meeting packs
Compilation and preparation of annual audit committee pack
Monthly Payroll review and oversight

Remuneration

R740k C.T.C p/a excluding bonus
