SUMMARY:
Senior Manager: Data Centre Site Infrastructure

POSITION INFO:

The role is to provide strategic and operational management and leadership in all aspects in respect to Core site (Data Centre) development, build and upgrade projects and manage the maintenance of all core infrastructures nationally. To provide input to the long term switching site strategy aligned to the network strategy and roadmap, develop the strategic plan for the implementation of all infrastructure at switching sites, and identify the requirement for expansion of existing switching sites and addition of new switching sites for the next 3-5 years from an engineering and physical infrastructure perspective. You must have a degree in Mechanical Engineering with several years experience in a managerial position in this field. The role will be required to travel nationally but will be based in Johannesburg.
