Senior Wealth Manager

SUMMARY:
An established financial services organization is expanding its Wealth Management team and is looking for motivated individuals to join its growing advisory business across Johannesburg, Pretoria and Cape Town.

POSITION INFO:
The role provides an opportunity to deliver independent, fee-based wealth advice and investment management services, including both onshore and offshore financial advice. Experienced Wealth Managers with an existing client book will be given preference, although candidates without an established book will also be considered. The opportunity is suited to individuals who are confident building relationships, networking and generating referrals through their professional and personal networks. This is an entrepreneurial role for someone who is prepared to take ownership of their success, develop a valuable client base and build long-term relationships. Full training, coaching and development will be provided, making the opportunity accessible to candidates who do not necessarily come from a financial background. Key Responsibilities Provide clients with onshore and offshore financial planning and wealth management advice. Take a holistic approach to long-term client relationships and provide suitable, independent financial planning and wealth solutions. Develop and deliver agreed business targets while remaining compliant and keeping client needs at the forefront. Manage a client base effectively and provide a high standard of ongoing service and holistic advice. Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients. Identify new business opportunities and generate referrals through professional and personal networks. For experienced Wealth Managers, leverage and further develop an existing client book to grow assets under management and expand advisory relationships. Job Experience and Skills Required Experience in wealth management, financial planning and\/or offshore investments would be advantageous. Experienced Wealth Managers with an existing client book are preferred. BCom or similar finance-related qualification. Proven ability to engage with new and existing clients on a fee basis. Sound understanding of wealth management practices and processes. Strong technical and product knowledge across holistic financial planning strategies and solutions. Strong interest in financial markets, investments and wealth creation. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Highly motivated, entrepreneurial and target-driven. Ability to network, generate referrals and develop long-term client relationships. Excellent output-based remuneration is offered.
