SUMMARY:
Our client in the Telecoms sector is seeking a Senior Manager: Data Governance & Quality on a contract duration of 5 months.

POSITION INFO:
Educational qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or related field.
Master’s Degree in Data Governance, Data Management, or MBA (preferred).

Relevant experience

"8–12 years of experience in data governance, data management, or information quality roles.
Proven track record of implementing data governance frameworks in complex, regulated environments (e.g., financial services, fintech, telecoms).
Strong stakeholder engagement across business, risk, legal, compliance, and technical teams.
Familiarity with data regulations (e.g., POPIA, GDPR, BCBS 239) and enterprise data management principles (DAMA-DMBOK, DCAM)."

Required certifications

Preferred: Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) – DAMA
DCAM (Data Management Capability Assessment Model)
