Senior Manager: Enterprise Architecture, DevOps and Business Intelligence

SUMMARY:
Functions:

• Be responsible for the overall Enterprise Architecture, run the Architecture engagements, and keep the EA landscape documents up to
• Manage various DevOps teams: Architecture, Medical Scheme Administration systems on Natural/Adabas Mainframe Environment, Workflow, .Net/Java in-house corporate systems, Digital Channels, and BI/DW.
• Coordinate Enterprise Architecture activities, ensure roadmaps and plans are updated, the landscape is mapped. Coordinate design activities and solutions architectures, review and ensure feasibility of proposed architecture
• Manage and take responsibility of all activities regarding the design, development, implementation and maintenance of new and existing systems.
• Manage, design, and monitor the DevOps
• Manage external contractors, time-sheet and budget management, contract renewal and
• Rollout of new technologies in order to stay abreast of industry
• Ensure governance of operational activities being carried out by system development
• Relevant planning and budget management of the portfolio to align with the
• Project management and technical involvement, analysis and design of computer & mobile
• To align system development with business units, in order to achieve synergy between Business strategy and IT strategy.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:


·      An applicable bachelor’s degree in Business or Computer Sciences or Engineering.
·      Fifteen years’ applicable experience, of which six years must be experience in managing a technical team and at least three years on senior management level.
-       Must possess knowledge and experience of the following:
-       Good knowledge of Enterprise Architecture and its principles
-       Good knowledge of Solutions Architecture and its applications, artefacts and processes
-       Good knowledge of software engineering fundamentals and methodologies
-       Good knowledge of agile development cycle
-       Firm grasp of object-oriented programming concepts and principles
-       An understanding of database systems,
-       Knowledge of web services and standards
-       Knowledge of DevOps and tools (e.g., Jenkins, or Azure pipelines)
-       Knowledge of Data-warehouse design methodologies, construction and management, ETL process and implementation of BI solutions
-       Knowledge of Financial Modelling and model-building (e.g., Quantitative Models)
-       Understand and experience with multi-team SDLC management
-       Understand and have experience in budget planning and management processes
-       Ability to articulate and gain engagement for ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
-       Ability to motivate in a team-oriented collaborative environment
-       Demonstrable and substantial experience in leading and managing teams of software developers
-       Experience in successfully designing and developing complex and sophisticated software systems deployed in various environments
-       Project management
-       Risk management
-       Complex systems process analysis, design and simulation methodologies
-       Familiarity with best practice management and governance frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL, King V, ISO, TOGAF, applicable laws, acts and regulations.
-       Must possess a valid K53 driving license.
