Senior Manager ICT Infrastructure

SUMMARY:
Our client in Pretoria is looking for a Senior ICT Infrastructure Manager position on a 6-month contract.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• B degree or higher in IT
• Foundation ITIL,
• 5 to 8 years of relevant experience at senior management level with experience in infrastructure systems, tools and processes,
• Data/Voice/Wireless

Overall responsibilities:

• Responsible for the server environments (physical and virtualised [VMWare]), Unix platforms, Oracle databases and data warehouse solutions,MSSQL database platforms, DB2,
• Responsible for VMWare server management, Vitualisation allocations,Midrange, storage and data centres
• End-user technologies
• Infrastructure Delivery:
• Provides the main point of contact for business and application teams.
• Lead responsibility for managing demand and business-aligned solutions,
• Portfolio and service management
• Network technology responsibilities on Wired data, voice and internet access, and Wireless data, voice and internet access.
• Global specialised connectivity and middleware technologies, responsible for specialised connectivity capabilities such as co-location services, market data technology, connectivity and high frequency technology, provides application platform and integration services such as web, application server, secure file transfer, and data transformation and connectivity services
• Responsible for technology operations, event and incident management, batch operations, service performance reporting, asset control management, enterprise tooling, and service continuity
