Senior Manager ICT Infrastructure

SUMMARY:
We are recruiting: Senior Manager ICT Infrastructure, 6 months contract. The incumbent of this position will be expected to support the ICT Business Executive in the delivery of strategy, innovation, and change agenda to ensure services and operational excellence for the Company Information Communication and Technology business unit (ICT).

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:

Managing the ICT infrastructure systems

• Data Centre,
• Server & Storage,
• backups,
• voice and data networks, including cable and WiFi solutions and services,
• innovation,
• end-user management,
• desktop management,
• database management,
• Internet / Intranet access

1. Manages the change control procedure and ensures that project deliverables are completed within planned cost, timescale, and resource budgets and ensures sign-off of all changes.
2. Provides effective leadership to the infrastructure project team and takes appropriate action where performance deviates from agreed tolerances.
3. Manages and coordinates ICT-related training for the infrastructure team.
4. Manages key significant projects for the Business Unit.

Qualifications: 

• B degree or higher in IT Qualification

• Foundation ITIL, Other ITIL Certification advantageous

Experience:

• At least 5 to 8 years of relevant experience at the senior management level
• Experience in infrastructure systems, tools, and processes
• Data/Voice/Wireless

• CV showing formal IT-related qualification (at least a post-graduate degree)
• CV showing formal IT-related certification in Network Infrastructure/Data/Voice, ITIL/TOGAF/COBIT, End User support, or any relevant certification. These should not be at the foundation level.
• CV showing the relevant experience of at least 5years managing IT Infrastructure environment, in all the three areas (Networks/ Voice OR End User Support OR IT Platforms/Server environment), including management of a team.
• CV to reflect experience in working with COBIT 5 or ITIL 3/4 frameworks (should have worked with both key frameworks)
