POSITION INFO:

Senior Manager Membership and Compliance – Medical Scheme - Pretoria

The Senior Manager: Membership and Compliance will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and forms part of the Member Service and Experience division. The position is based in Head Office.

The Senior Manager: Membership and Compliance will be required to provide support to the Chief Marketing Officer through the implementation of the following:

Key Performance Areas (KPAs):

Support the Chief Marketing Officer with management of divisional compliance metrics and maintenance of scheme membership through management of the Administrator. This includes;

ü  member registration,

ü  member termination,

ü  member retention and

ü  option change.

Manage operational elements around;

ü  underwriting,

ü  non-disclosure,

ü  member registration,

ü  membership complaints management,

ü  eligibility,

ü  fraud review,

ü  compliance and

ü  audit requirements.

Manage and oversee operational elements around Walk-in Centres

Manage and mitigate divisional and SPN risk and compliance and audit findings

Requirements

ü  Minimum 3year Degree and a relevant post graduate qualification;

ü  At least 5 years membership management experience at a senior level;

ü  Must have at least 8 years functional experience with at least 5 years at a management level;

ü  Membership management, customer service and/or legal experience, including knowledge of risk management requirements and controls

ü  Excellent people management and leadership abilities

ü  Superior communication, facilitation and consensus-building skills

ü  Demonstrated relationship-building skills, with a superior ability to make things happen through the use of positive influence

ü  High degree of personal initiative

ü  Organizational awareness with an understanding of how to engage the organization to get things done

ü  Strong problem-solving skills; comfortable tackling complex problems and breaking these down into manageable pieces

ü  Superior multi-tasking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, often deadline-oriented and dynamic environment

ü  Conceptual and practical thinking and implementation skills

ü  Process design and analysis skills

ü  Research, analysis and judgement skills

ü  Strong PowerPoint skills, intermediate Excel skills

ü  Project management experience
