Senior Manager: Strategic Communication

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Public Sector, has an opportunity available for a Senior Manager: Strategic Communication. This position will be based in the Tshwane area.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• B Degree in Communications/Public Relations/Marketing/Journalism
• 6-10 years’ work experience in Marketing, Stakeholder Relations, Media Relations and Communications in the Private or Public Sector
• At least 5 years’ experience at middle management or senior management level

KPAs:

• Strategically direct and supervise the strategic communication activities
• Establish the Strategic Communication Business Unit as a pro-active, value-adding source of expertise, assistance and consulting advice;
• Strategically direct and supervise the brand management activities
• Provide advice to the Commissioner and the executive on brand management and strategic communication matters
• Ensure the proper administration, governance and risk management of the business unit
