Senior Manager: Wholesale Billing Operations

POSITION INFO:

• Set objectives and tactical strategies for the Wholesale and MVNO Billing Department
• Implement and make use of suitable technology to streamline internal operations and help optimize their strategic benefits
• Design and customize technological systems and applications to deliver superior service to all Wholesale partners.
• Plan the implementation of new systems and provide guidance to Commercial and other related business stakeholder.
• Provide guidance in assessment of technological and software refreshments with relevant IT services and providers.
• Oversee the technological infrastructure in the billing domain to ensure optimal performance.
• Direct, support and organize business support (BSS) related projects.
• Analyse the costs, value, and risks of information technology to advise management.
• Oversee and understand workings and systems of the business support systems (BSS) domain.
• Compile management reports for various steering committees.
• Actively seek to improve business processes within the billing and commissions area.
• Develop and recommend financial policies and procedures and programs to increase effectiveness of financial information collected.
• Identify potential financial risks and exposures and advise management of financial implications as well as implement controls to prevent losses.
• Implement all agreements with service providers, MVNOs, international roaming, roaming, interconnect and WASPS.
• Ensure rates captured on the system are in line with the above agreement and schedule of charges.
• Regular input to amendment of business processes.
• Ensure incident management processes are adhered to.
• Effective management of problem management and implementation of appropriate measures.
