Medissage is a specialised remedial massage practice focused on clinically-informed, results-driven treatment for pain, injury, postural dysfunction, and nervous system regulation.
Our team consists of experienced therapists delivering consistent, high-standard care within a professional, medical-adjacent environment.

The Role
We are expanding our clinical team and are seeking a Senior Massage / Remedial Therapist to join our established practice.
This role is suited to a confident therapist who:

• Is comfortable managing complex cases
• Works independently with strong clinical reasoning
• Values professionalism, continuity of care, and outcomes

Full onboarding and training in the Medissage approach will be provided to ensure consistency across the team.

Minimum Requirements (Essential)
✔ Minimum 4 years hands-on clinical experience
✔ Valid, in-person massage qualification (no online-only certifications)
✔ Training in Therapeutic / Remedial / Sports Massage
✔ Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills
✔ Confident working autonomously with clients
✔ Exceptional client communication and professional etiquette
✔ Well-presented and reliable

Core Modalities Required
Applicants must be competent in:

• Remedial / Therapeutic Massage
• Sports Massage
• Swedish / Relaxation Massage

Highly advantageous:

• Manual Lymphatic Drainage
• Myofascial or fascial-based techniques
• Trigger point or neuromuscular therapy

Bonus Experience
International training or work experience
Additional modalities or advanced certifications
Experience in medical, rehabilitation, or multi-disciplinary settings

Remuneration
Base Salary + Commission – experience dependant
Earning potential up to R30,000
