SUMMARY:
Work independently designing and managing multiple mechanical building services projects for an Industry leading consulting firm.

POSITION INFO:

Liaising with clients and contractors on different levels

Manage mechanical projects independently as a project leader

Concept and detailed designs for mechanical building services projects including HVAC, wet services, LP Gas and medical gas

Compile tender and contract documents

Carry out cost estimates, report writing and financial administration

Monitoring of construction progress

Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 4-8 years relevant post grad experience in all aspects of design, specification and project managing of mechanical building services

Experience in HVAC, Wet services, LP Gas and medical or specialized gas

Rational fire design (Advantageous)

Thorough knowledge of South African Building Regulation surrounding construction projects

Proficient in the use and application of Revit

Qualification:

BSc Eng/ BEng/ Btech in Mechanical Engineering

Eligible for professional registration as PREng/ PRTechEng

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
