A well-established Engineering Consulting company based in Cape Town currently has a position for an ECSA registered Mechanical Engineer.

POSITION INFO:
Position: Senior Mechanical Engineer
Location: Cape Town

The successful incumbent will be responsible for:

Building services design; HVAC, fire protection, wet services, and drainage
Compiling of tender documentation; Bill of quantities, specification documentation, and drawings
Site/project management; Site inspections and meetings, compensation events, payment valuations, and closeout documentation and testing/inspection

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

BEng Mechanical Engineering
5+ years of working experience
Experience in HVAC designs and installations
Experience in Wet Services designs and installations
Experience in Tender Specifications and BOQ’s
Experience in Site monitoring and Budget management
Strong leadership and people skills.
The ability to delegate work and good management skills.
Good problem-solving skills with strong technical ability in Building Services.
Fire designs and Installations
CAD or Revit Drafting experience
