SUMMARY:
Work on high profile projects designing and running HVAC and Wet Services for a leading national consulting firm in the heart of Cape Town.

POSITION INFO:

Design and run projects from conception to close out

Manage mechanical projects independently as a project leader

Do concept and detailed designs

Compile tender and contract documents

Do cost estimation, report writing and financial administration

Monitoring construction progress

Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 4-8 years relevant post grad experience in all aspects of design, specification and project managing of mechanical building services

Proven experience in large scale HVAC and full Wet services projects

Chilled water experience is essential (Cool towers, thermal energy storage etc.)

Rational fire design and medical/specialized gas experience would be advantageous

Thorough knowledge of South African Building Regulations surrounding construction projects

Proficient in the use and application of Revit

Qualification:

BSc Eng/BEng/Btech in Mechanical Engineering

Eligible for professional registration as PREng/PRTechEng

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
