A specialist mineral processing Company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Metallurgist / Process Engineer to join our operations team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting plant performance and driving production efficiency in a chrome and tailings recovery environment.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in metallurgical or chemical engineering
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in mineral processing, preferably in chrome and/or tailings operations
• Strong understanding of plant process optimisation and metallurgical reporting
• Proficient in data analysis and troubleshooting of processing operations
• Good communication and leadership skills

• Provide technical support to the plant to achieve production and recovery targets
• Conduct daily performance monitoring, analysis, and reporting
• Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives
• Collaborate with plant operations, maintenance, and engineering teams
• Assist with test work, process trials, and metallurgical investigations
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
