JOB SUMMARY:
Our client a national government entity requires a Senior Database Administrator with an undergraduate qualification as recognized by SAQA in a relevant field coupled with 1 - 2 years' management experience, a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Senior Oracle Database Administrator, a minimum of 1 (one) year's experience supporting Oracle EBusiness Suite 12.2 environment, and experience in Oracle Identity and Access Management (IAM)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key Performance Areas:

Implement and maintain the business systems to support the entity's operations in line with the entity's regulatory framework.
Design and manage the entity's database architecture to ensure the availability in accordance with the needs of the business.
Manage the major upgrades of the EBusiness Suite.
Manage the annual DR testing of the EBusiness suite.
Create backup and recovery plans and procedures to ensure that precautions are adhered to and preserve data.
Manage the security and ensure the protection of data or database.
Maintenance of the Oracle EBusiness Suite application.

Requirements:

Undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6) as recognized by SAQA in the relevant field coupled with 1 - 2 years management experience.
A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Senior Oracle Database Administrator.
A minimum of 1 year's experience supporting Oracle EBusiness Suite 12.2 environment.
Experience in Oracle Identity and Access Management (IAM).
