- Ensuring precise portioning, presentation, and taste consistency
- Managing pastry kitchen operations, stock control, and costings
- Leading, training, and mentoring the pastry team
- Maintaining strict hygiene, food safety, and quality standards
- Staying up to date with global pastry trends and techniques
Requirements- Formal culinary qualification with a focus on pastry
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a high-end hotel, resort, or fine dining environment
- Proven leadership and mentoring skills
- Exceptional creativity, plating skills, and attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure
- Knowledge of dietary requirements and allergen management
