Our client, one of Sub-Saharan Africa’s most revered private equity firms, is looking for a Private Equity Senior Associate to join their team in Johannesburg.

Our client, founded close to 40 years ago, has an unparalleled record of successful, sustainable investing and is one of the most competitive private equity funds on the continent. Its investments have consistently outperformed the publicly traded stock market benchmarks, producing robust returns for their investors and stakeholders. The qualified candidate will be part of the company’s flagship fund where he/she will play a key role in portfolio management and executing the exit processes for various portfolios.

Job experience & skills required

Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) or any other financial qualification
CFA qualification would be highly beneficial
A minimum of 5 years’ post-qualifying experience in investment banking or private equity within the Principal Investments, Leverage Finance or Corporate Finance divisions
Experience in origination, portfolio management, deal evaluation and execution.
Robust valuations, analysis, and modelling skills
