SUMMARY:
Looking for a young procurement professional in the Western Cape with an Engineering background.

POSITION INFO:

Procurement Officer / Buyer – Somerset West
Industry: Aviation Engineering

What You’ll Do:

Manage end-to-end procurement and supply chain processes.
Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best value.
Optimize inventory and logistics for efficiency and cost savings.
Implement sustainable and ethical procurement practices.

What We’re Looking For:

2-5 years’ experience in procurement and supply chain within heavy manufacturing.
Fluent in Afrikaans.
Strong technical knowledge of raw materials and construction products.
Import and export control regulations and INCOTERMS.
Excellent negotiation and analytical skills.
Familiarity with ISO standards and INCOTERMS.
Advanced MS Excel skills.

Additional Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in BEng or Procurement/Supply Chain.
Valid SA driver’s license and passport.
Fluent in English.
