SUMMARY:
A Senior Product Consultant is needed in Johannesburg East.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Manage category plans aligned with procurement or the sales strategy, to drive savings, reduce risk, and boost profitability.
Support stakeholder engagement and communication efforts to ensure alignment and buy-in.
Maintain partner relationships to ensure smooth collaboration and identify new opportunities.
Handle complex supplier/customer queries and escalate policy issues when needed.
Monitor market trends and assess their potential impact.
Assist with building strong internal/external stakeholder relationships.
Conduct structured sales meetings, identify customer needs, and tailor solutions.
Analyze data using standard tools and formats.
Pursue continuous learning, development, and professional accreditation.
Stay up to date with tech, regulations, and industry trends.

Requirements:

Red Seal (Mechanical Engineering)/earthmoving trade.
4–7 years in a similar role as a product consultant for heavy machinery (grade 7), including 3+ years in a relevant industry.
Proven experience in Agriculture/Construction/Mining/Forestry.
Stakeholder engagement experience.
Strong skills in relationship management, communication, sales, negotiation, and technical support.
Effective problem-solving, planning, and decision-making abilities.
Frequent local travel required.
