POSITION INFO:

CyberPro Consulting is looking for an experienced product designer to be the design lead on key initiatives, predominantly on mobile platforms. We''re looking for someone who has mastery of their craft and can turn business processes and customer insights into beautifully designed products.

What you’ll do

• Lead design projects across the entire product lifecycle and multiple product launches. You set the vision for the user experience and create the space for others to collaborate.
• Let users lead the way. Our users inform where we are going. Our teams focus on listening to users, and letting their needs guide us to the best solutions. It’s important for us to know we are solving for real people and not just the loudest voice in the room.
• Work with small multi-disciplinary teams. You’ll partner closely with engineering, product, and business folks to find elegant but practical solutions. You’ll provide the thought leadership to develop the right product strategy, steer and educate business on design thinking principles and best practises.
• Rapidly produce multiple concepts and prototypes; knowing when to apply pixel-perfect attention to detail, and when to make low-fi sketches and prototypes.
  Work with, and guide developers in making sensible mobile design pattern and component choices, informed by your extensive knowledge of both Google Material and iOS design guidelines.
• Drive projects forward by facilitating calls with clients across the continent, solicit the necessary input from business, and communicate design progress with stakeholders.
  Work with development agencies abroad ensuring design and quality standards are adhered to. Help to continuously evolve our design standards by contributing to our design systems, processes and procedures, and evangelise its adoption across the business.
• Be autonomous. You’ll take full ownership your work, and you take responsibility for every last detail, every step of the way.

Key Skills and Experience

• UI Design, using products like Figma, Illustrator and Photoshop
• Extensive Mobile Design Guidelines knowledge on both iOS and Android platforms Deep knowledge of UX Design principles
• Prototyping both low and high-fidelity prototypes using tools like Figma and Protopie
• Facilitation and participation in Google Design Sprints
• Well versed in Design Thinking Methodologies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, UX copywriting experience would be advantages
• Penchant for detail
