Senior Project Administrator

POSITION INFO:

Our Client a Global Tech firm is seeking a Senior Project Administrator to join their team in Cape town on a 12 month contract. They offer stability, competitive rates, growth and an excellent working environment.

As a Senior Project Administrator, you''ll be responsible for managing the day-to-day progress of projects. You will manage project documentation and provide guidance to teams on how to improve their processes. You will also be required to perform reviews on all aspects of project documentation, ensuring that it is up-to-date and accurate at all times. Additionally, you''ll ensure that your team is working within budget guidelines by monitoring expenditure throughout the duration of each project.

Requirements

  • Oracle exposure is essential (not as a skill but experience)
  • Ensuring that projects are run in compliance with the Clients requirements; Providing guidance to project teams;
  • Maintaining and integrating project plans; Tracking and reporting overall progress; Administering the project budget;
  • Planning and scheduling resources for a group of projects; Monitoring resource utilization;
  • Performing quality reviews;
  • Establishing and maintaining the project documentation library, and Supporting the relevant Programme Manager(s) and Project Manager(s) with various activities
  • Ability to collaborate and work as a part of a team;
  • Ability to be self-managed, ethical, and honest;
  • Ability to be respectful and seek to build relationships;
  • Have a pragmatic approach to business transformation;
  • Strong presentation skills at board level or executive management level;
  • Relevant business development experience and skills; and
  • Experience and capability of leading IT technologies.

Qualifications

  • One or more tertiary qualification(s) issued by a registered tertiary institution that is/are relevant to the role of the Project Administrator, OR
  • One or more industry accredited course credential(s) that is/are relevant to the role of the Project Administrator AND
  • A minimum of 2 (two) years experience at managerial level in a Project Administrator (as defined in section 3.2 above) or equivalent role.
