SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to lead and deliver multiple engineering projects within the mining sector. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise and a proven ability to manage several projects simultaneously, while ensuring quality, safety, and commercial performance.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and execute end-to-end project engineering activities across multiple concurrent projects.
Oversee project planning, design coordination, cost control, scheduling, and risk management.
Drive engineering standards, compliance, and best practices across all project phases.
Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
Prepare and review technical documentation, specifications, and engineering reports.
Monitor project performance against scope, budget, and timelines.
Support project governance, quality assurance, and site execution requirements.
Identify design improvements, cost efficiencies, and technical optimisation opportunities.

Requirements:

BEng / BTech in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related Engineering discipline.
Minimum 8–10 years project engineering experience within the mining, materials handling, or related heavy industries.
Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects at the same time.
Strong understanding of engineering design principles, project lifecycles, and EPC/EPCM environments.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to work under pressure, prioritise effectively, and drive delivery in fast-paced environments.
