Senior Project Manager - Software Development - Contract

Our client a Global Tech firm is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Software Development to join their team in Pretoria on a contract basis. Our client offers stability, excellent working environment, growth and an attractive salary.

Responsible for the coordination of multiple software development projects and programs, ensuring that they're delivered on time and within budget. You'll ensure that all elements of a project are in place, from planning to control to execution. Working closely with our IT department as well as third-party vendors who may be involved in delivering our products or services.

Requirements

• Provides guidance for project management, technical analysis, and documentation to relevant stakeholder groups
• Provides support for implementing and deploying technical solutions
• 8 years working experience in the field of Project Management
• Membership in good standing with a professional body in the field of project management (PMP) Project Management Professional
• Strategic, tactical and operational experience

Qualifications

• NQF Level 8 or equivalent qualification in the field of Project Management
• Previous experience with a software development environment preferred
• 8 years of experience as a Program/Project Manager with an emphasis on software development and project management is required
• Experience in working with large scale projects, such as infrastructure or application development
