SUMMARY:
Brief description of the job Contribute to the entire software development cycle, end to end. Play a key role in the furthering and innovation of (new) company products and services.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Contribute to the entire software development cycle, end to end. This includes the planning, analysis, design, development, deployment and support of projects and products.
Train up and further develop the skills of other developers, where needed.
Actively participate in the further structural development of the department; provide solutions to improve the overall efficiency of the team and the development department.
Adhere to industry best practices and good coding standards as followed by the team and communicated.

Job requirements

Minimum of 6-years front-end experience in web applications, with significant experience in JavaScript. Solid experience with the recent versions of React Native is a must, and experience with ReactJS and AngularJS is an advantage.
Back-end experience with web applications, and in particular Node.js is an advantage.
Database experience with NoSQL, and in particular MongoDB is an advantage.
Experience in REST API’s and User Experience Design is an advantage.
University degree in computer science or any other relevant field of study is an advantage
Numeracy and literacy skills, fluent in English.
Excellent understanding of fundamental programming concepts and design patterns.
