SUMMARY:
Are you a high-performing Senior Reinsurance Accountant with experience in investment-linked reinsurance structures? A niche investment and financial services firm, with a global footprint and a strong alternative risk finance portfolio, is seeking experienced Reinsurance Accountants to support its expanding reinsurance and structured finance operations.

POSITION INFO:
Senior Reinsurance Accountants in this environment are typically responsible for the full accounting lifecycle of reinsurance treaties, premium allocations, recoveries, and financial reporting across structured deals. This role offers exposure to investment-linked insurance products and complex reinsurance structures, working closely with finance, legal, and investment teams.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

BCom Accounting, Finance, or related qualification (CA(SA) and CIMA advantageous)
5+ years of reinsurance accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role
Strong understanding of complex reinsurance arrangements, treaty administration, and claims accounting
Exposure to investment or structured insurance products is highly desirable
Familiarity with IFRS 17, solvency regulations, and multi-entity financial consolidations
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in systems such as SAP, Oracle, or reinsurance accounting platforms
