The Role:

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior DevOps consultant to join their team. The successful candidate should be able to interact with consultants of other modules for Integration requirements, Execution according to the Agile Methodology and attending of all team meetings, including Stand-ups, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospectives, Sprint Planning meetings etc. and proactively propose solutions to improve the support of (new) business processes.

Essential Qualification:

• Understand the business requirements, preparing AS-IS, and TO-BE documents and get sign-off from users for functional and/or technical design document(s).
• Proactively propose solutions to improve the support of (new) business processes.
• Executing the required changes through configuration.
• Interact with consultants of other modules for Integration requirements.
• Preparing test data and documentation, Conducting Unit tests, Regression tests and System Integration security tests including recording of results.
• Preparing User manuals and conducting training to business process owners.
• Planning of go live milestones, planning, preparation and execution of migration cutover and Go-Live as well as post Go-Live support activities.
• Interaction with clients through meetings, calls and emails.
• Support the troubleshooting, resolving and closing of Production Support tickets within defined SLAâ??s (Service Level Agreements).
• User interface transactional solutions.
• Analyze and scope End-user authorization roles.
• Update and maintain documentation as an existing systemâ??s functionality is changed.
• Execution according to the Agile Methodology and attending of all team meetings, including Stand-ups, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospectives, Sprint Planning meetings etc.
• Daily use of the Agile Tool Chain, as per the updates required by the respective feature team(s).

Essential Qualification:

• Relevant IT / Business Degree equivalent experience.
• Certification in SAP EWM

Experience Required:

• 6 yearsâ?? experience
• Expert working knowledge of SAP Extended Warehouse Management customizing: setting up storage control,
• warehouse process types, structural elements - including master data, goods receipt, goods issue processes.
• German language skills will be advantageous.

Functional Skills:

• Expert working knowledge of SAP Extended Warehouse Management customizing: setting up storage control, warehouse process types, structural elements - including master data, goods receipt, goods issue processes.
• Extended knowledge across all Logistical SAP modules including good knowledge on Warehouse Management.
• ABAP debugging beneficial (Workbench related knowledge of new development/enhancements)
• Understand interfaces, IDOC and RFC''s processing.

Technical Skills:

Advantageous, not compulsory:

• PPF, ERP/EWM Integration, Warehouse related customizing in ERP: Plant, Warehouse, Storage location, etc.
• SAP Materials Management.
• Solution Manager experience.
• MS Office tools (Excel, Word PowerPoint).
• JIRA and Confluence

• Take consultative approach to challenge customersâ?? requested solution design, should a better alternative exist.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively (verbally and written) with both technical and non-technical colleagues/users.
• Strong Presentation skills.

• Willingness and ability to work on weekends and public holidays on implementation and operations (IT Support) related tasks.
