Senior Energy Sales Engineers — Cape Town Needs a Closer.

POSITION INFO:
A leading player in the specialised energy solutions space is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to drive growth across the Western Cape.

This role is suited to a commercially mature professional who can operate autonomously, engage at executive and technical levels, and close high-value, solution-based deals within the energy and infrastructure sectors.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

5+ years’ experience in energy, power, or technical solution sales
Strong exposure to commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects
Proven track record of closing complex, high-value deals
Ability to engage confidently with engineers, developers, and decision-makers
Based in Cape Town with willingness to travel regionally

Job Experience & Skills Required

Drive new business development and strategic account growth
Sell specialised energy solutions into commercial and industrial markets
Lead technical and commercial discussions with stakeholders
Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity identification to contract close
Maintain disciplined pipeline management and forecasting
