Senior Sales Executive

Our client, a leading supplier of construction and mining machinery, has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive to drive the expansion of their business in South Africa. The role requires a deep understanding of the Mining machinery industry, as well as a strong track record of success in sales and experience working with the leading brands in the industry.

Key Activities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to generate sales leads and increase revenue.
• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitors.
• Manage the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing deals, including negotiations and contract management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction
• Develop and deliver sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including customer interactions, sales pipeline, and sales forecasts.
• Continuously evaluate and improve sales strategies and tactics, using feedback from customers and best practices in the industry.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales of Mining machinery, preferably with experience working with leading brands of the industry e.g. CAT, BELL, KOMATSU, VOLVO, or HITACHI machinery.
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze market trends and identify new business opportunities.
• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to close deals and manage customer relationships.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
