Senior Sales Representative (Timber Industry)

SUMMARY:
Indigenous Timbers is looking for a highly experienced and self-driven Sales Representative with a strong background in timber sales to work remotely across the Eastern and Western Cape.

POSITION INFO:

Sales & Business Development

• Maintain and grow existing client relationships
• Identify and secure new business opportunities
• Achieve and exceed sales targets

Client Management

• Conduct regular client visits across Eastern & Western Cape
• Provide product knowledge, pricing, and quotations
• Build long-term relationships with key clients

Target Markets

• Retail outlets
• Wood machining shops
• Furniture manufacturers
• Building supply chains and retailers
• Export clients (where applicable)

Operations & Reporting

• Work closely with the Director on sales strategy
• Submit regular sales reports and forecasts
• Liaise with admin and operations teams regarding orders and deliveries

Remuneration & Benefits

Key Requirements:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in timber sales

Proven experience selling:

• Wet-off-saw timber
• Kiln Dried (KD) timber
• Planed All Round (PAR) timber
• Decking products

Must have an existing, active customer base

Proven track record of achieving sales targets

Ability to work independently in a remote/mobile role

Strong organizational and time management skills
