SUMMARY:
Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Senior Sectional Title Portfolio Manager to take the lead in managing a select group of high-end estates in the Western Cape. This role blends operational oversight, governance, compliance, and community engagement.
POSITION INFO:
Key funtions:
Oversee Estate Operations:
Manage day-to-day site activities including security, maintenance, landscaping, and contractor performance.
Conduct Site Inspections:
Regularly inspect common areas to ensure adherence to quality standards, health & safety regulations, and estate rules.
Financial Management:
Handle levy billing, collections, and arrears. Prepare budgets, monthly management reports, and manage reserve fund planning.
Governance & Compliance:
Coordinate and attend AGMs, SGMs, and Trustee meetings in compliance with STSMA and CSOS. Maintain statutory records and trustee correspondence.
Resident Communication:
Maintain accurate resident databases, manage newsletters and alerts, and implement effective communication and engagement strategies.
Risk & Legal Compliance:
Ensure estates comply with OHSA, POPIA, FICA, SARS requirements, and local bylaws.
Technology Oversight:
Administer estate access systems, security surveillance tools, and resident portals. Identify opportunities to improve sustainability and efficiency through technology.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years’ experience in Sectional Title or estate management
- Sound knowledge of STSMA, CSOS, OHSA, POPIA, and related legislation
- Strong financial acumen and reporting skills
- Excellent administrative, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Tertiary qualification in Property or Facilities Management preferred
- Experience with large residential estates is advantageous
- Must have a valid license and a reliable vehicle
