JOB SUMMARY:
Snr Software Engineer needed

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client is looking for an all rounder Software Engineer to join their growing digital team, building innovative projects for the E-commerce and hospitality businesses in South Africa and around the world. This is a senior position so you will be expected to hit the ground running, providing high quality code from the beginning.

You would be expected to do/know (not limited to):
have significate knowledge and experience (5 years or more) in:
Typescript and Javascript
NEst JS/Express (wit:h Mikro-ORM, GraphQL)
Angular
Experience working API''s
Must have the ability to write clean code and to work from existing code and frameworks
Must reliably implement code edits and identify and fi errors
Solid understanding of web design, navigation, usability best practices, and SEO best practices
Fluent in Afrikaans and English 100%

Requirements:

5+ years experience in similar role
5+ years experience working with Javascript, Typescript, Angular and NestJS/Express
Fluent in Afrikaans and English 100%
Own Car and Valid license
Relevant Qualification

It would be advantageous if you also have experience/exposure with:
GCP (Kuberetes,CloudSQL - MYSQL, Redis, cloudrun, Stackdrive, etc)
Git Lab(source code,CI/CD)
Jira/Confluence (documentation, sprint planning)
CloudFlare (DNS, CD N)
Cloudinary (Image and video CDN and transformation)
Terraform(infrastructure as code)
Helm (k8s deployment)
