Qualifications

• Python
• Javascript
• Must be able to make eye contact and speak English at a Professional Level
• Onsite and In-office work, not remote
• Masters or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
• 7 years development experience with programming languages
• SQL database or relational database skill

Responsibilities:

• Standard development to improve the product.
• Taking part in code reviews on work completed by fellow employees.
• Assisting with client support on the product.
• Planning and management of the development pipeline/sprints.
• Research and implementation of good development standards, processes and procedures to be used in everyday product development and support.
• Assist in the optimisation, maintenance and growth of server infrastructure.
• Assist in identifying areas in the product that can be improved (from a functional or technical perspective).
• Research new technologies that can be used in the product and ensuring that the product stays current in terms of available technology.
• Responsible for ensuring that the product is in good standing and implementing the relevant processes to ensure that the required level of maintenance is done on it.
• Assisting with the expansion of the product to cater for the needs of a global market.
• Engaging with clients to resolve uncertainty surrounding development requirements and to gain industry knowledge on the use of the product.
• Responsible for forming and maintaining relationship with third parties that are involved in the product (Integration Partners, Voiceflow, etc.).
• Acting as a mentor and a leader to the rest of the development team.
• Taking a personal interest in the growth of developers and assisting them to reach their potential. This includes identifying knowledge areas that an employee has an interest in and offering support to gain more knowledge on the applicable area.
• Assist in making sure that adequate knowledge sharing takes place between developers in.
• Responsible for the orientation, guidance and adoption of new developers employed by.
• Take part in interviews for new developers.
• Assist in the take on process of new clients in terms of custom development that may need to be done to ensure their continued patronage.
• Fulfilment of any reasonable request made by the company as new issues or opportunities present themselves.
