SUMMARY:
Are you passionate about driving Africa’s clean energy future? Do you have the drive, network, and commercial expertise to open new doors in the fast-growing solar industry? Our client is looking for a dynamic Solar Business Developer to join their team and play a leading role in expanding their footprint across the commercial, industrial, and agricultural sectors.

POSITION INFO:

Identify, develop, and close new solar PV project opportunities.
5+ years of experience in related field.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, from landowners to corporate decision-makers.
Conduct market research to spot trends and design winning entry strategies.
Negotiate commercial terms and contracts that ensure long-term success.
Collaborate with our technical and EPC teams to deliver tailored, bankable solutions.

What We’re Looking For

Proven track record in business development, sales, or project origination (renewable energy or related sectors preferred).
Strong network in C&I, EPC, or agricultural sectors.
Ability to translate client needs into compelling business proposals.
Entrepreneurial spirit with a hunter mindset—resilient, driven, and results-focused.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
