We are actively recruiting for a Solutions Architect with at least 6 years of professional experience in a similar role within the Communications Technology space, particularly in the areas of Solution Architecture, Product Design and Service Development.
Your role will be to act as the technology champion; and you will be responsible for the translation of business needs, business concepts and initiatives into working solutions. The solutions provided need to be end to end solution architecture (Design) taking consideration the people, process and system capabilities of the ICT organisation.
You will meet the following Minimum Requirements:
- Degree / National Diploma in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or similar from an accredited institution
- 6+ years’ experience in a similar role within the ICT / Telecoms Sector (non negotiable)
- Knowledge and experience with methodologies including Enterprise Architecture and Business Process Frameworks (TOGAF, ETOM, etc), System level design principals and Product life cycle management
- Experience of implementing Agile SCRUM and/or DEVOPS delivery practice is highly desirable
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Solid technical knowledge of telecommunications/internet and cloud products and solutions
Practical experience in the following areas would be essential:
- Engaging as the consultative face of IT to the Business and enable technology to address business challenges and improve operational efficiency
- Integrating new technologies with existing business initiatives and understanding the business processes and customer needs
- Articulating the business value of IT investments/projects and collaborating with partners and cross-functional groups during implementation
