A renowned luxury lodge in the Eastern Cape is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Sous Chef to join their award-winning culinary team. The ideal candidate is passionate about fine dining, detail-oriented, and thrives in a creative, high-standard kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and menu execution
• Lead the kitchen team in the Head Chef’s absence
• Maintain the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation
• Oversee stock control, hygiene, and kitchen administration
• Mentor junior chefs and ensure a positive, efficient work environment

Requirements:

• Recognised culinary qualification
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role within a 5-star lodge or fine dining environment
• Strong leadership, organisation, and multitasking skills
• Excellent knowledge of modern plating and seasonal menu development
