SUMMARY:
Our well established client in Randburg is looking to employ a Senior Special Interest Groups Consultant to attend to travel bookings

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Grade 12 or alternative NQF 4 qualification
• Grade 12 or relevant NQF 4 qualification
• Diploma in Tourism Management
• Min 8 years Travel consultant background (An advantage)
• Strong product knowledge covering Southern Africa (Essential)
• Experience in participating in costing and operating costs
• Prior experience in a consultant (An advantage)
• Exposure with the American, United Kingdom, European and Australasian markets
• Excellent relationship building skills
• Team- work and be able autonomous when required

• Work closely with the Reservations team to convert bookings
• Matching experiences to guests’ profile / sourcing new and different experiences and driving them into the business
• Assist the reservations team in a consultative manner along with agents and guests to curate creative itineraries
• Competitive quoting
• Support the Groups Division
