SUMMARY:
Gijima Staffing Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a client for a Senior Sppecialist: Exit Disposal.

POSITION INFO:
As the Senior Specialist: Exit/Disposal, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring investments are exited in ways that optimise value, strengthen portfolios, and deliver lasting impact. You will play a critical role in designing exit strategies, identifying the right buyers, and executing deals that maximise returns.
This isn’t just about selling stakes — it’s about building relationships, shaping deals, and creating win-win outcomes for both the organisation and its stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements:

A Postgraduate degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, or Law (CA(SA)/MBA advantageous).
Minimum qualification: relevant Post Graduate Degree in Business/Commercial or legal field or equivalent qualification is essential.
Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in portfolio transformation of private equity or a Commercial bank which involved in exiting of assets.
Should have at least 4 years’ experience in assessing the economic viability of businesses
Equity Valuation experience and knowledge is a necessity.
Proven track record in divestments, disposals, or exits.
Expertise in equity valuations, financial modelling, and M&A transactions.
Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and analytical skills.
Ability to thrive under pressure and manage complex transactions independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & execute exit strategies that ensure maximum financial recovery.
Identify and connect with investors and buyers in local and international markets.
Advise on deal terms and exit opportunities during new investments.
Leverage networks in private equity & investment banking to secure high-value exits.
Collaborate across teams to shape best-practice exit frameworks.
Build and maintain influential relationships with key stakeholders and investors.
