SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer (PrEng./PrTech) with around 10 or more years experience to join a top firm of consulting engineers in Durban.

You will be responsible for the design, implementation and management of structural engineering projects in the Buildings services sector.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

BSc./ BEng./ BTech: in Civil or Structural Engineering
Professionally registered with ECSA
Experienced in structural analysis, modeling and hand calculations, ensuring sound, code compliant, and constructible designs
Competent in conducting and leading site inspections, assessing workmanship and issuing site instructions.
Proven ability to take projects from concept to completion
Demonstrated leadership skills in guiding junior engineers and technicians
Strong client communication and interpersonal skills
Able to integrate structural design elements with other engineering and architectural disciplines
Strong working knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD, and structural modeling software, e.g. Tekla, Prokon, Robot, Masterseries.
