About the Role
You’ll monitor and review trading activity across listed securities to identify potential market abuse, including insider trading and price manipulation. Your insights help inform referrals to the regulatory authority and uphold market confidence through real-time oversight and structured investigations.
What You’ll Do

Conduct surveillance across equities, derivatives, and bond markets

Monitor and investigate share price/volume movements in real time

Review company announcements for market-sensitive activity

Identify, assess, and document suspected market abuse

Refer cases to the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA)
-
Support FSCA investigations through to resolution

Conduct quarterly alert optimisations and derivative P&L reviews
-
Adjudicate error trades and perform operational surveillance tasks
What You Bring
-
Degree in Maths, Engineering, Computer Science, or related quantitative field
-
5+ years’ experience, preferably in market surveillance
-
Advantageous: experience from another exchange or middle office role
-
Solid knowledge of trading practices, regulatory frameworks, and financial markets

Analytical thinker with strong communication and investigative skills
