Senior Systems Developer

Job Purpose

The Senior Systems Developer will be responsible for the documentation, development, installation, testing, and maintenance of software systems, including integration projects. The role focuses on building solutions that improve business efficiency and service delivery, while ensuring development standards are met. The incumbent will also mentor other developers and contribute to maintaining coding best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development

• Full lifecycle application development.

• Design, code, and debug applications in various programming languages.

• Conduct software, code, requirements, and risk analysis.

• Apply object-oriented design and analysis (OOA & OOD).

• Develop software models and simulations.

• Create and maintain front-end graphical user interfaces.

• Conduct software testing and quality assurance.

• Maintain and document software functionality.

• Integrate new software with existing systems.

• Participate in code reviews and support other developers.

Compliance

• Maintain coding and development standards.

• Participate in build and release processes.

Requirements

• 5–10 years’ experience in full lifecycle software application development.

• 5–10 years’ experience in C# and .NET (minimum 3 years with .NET Core).

• 5–10 years’ experience with WebAPI / web services / REST.

• 5–10 years’ experience with MS SQL Server / T-SQL or similar.

• 5–10 years’ experience with HTML, JavaScript/TypeScript, and CSS.

• Experience in developing web applications and using OOA/OOD principles.

• Experience in Xamarin/MAUI, Android, and iOS development (advantageous).

• Experience with Azure DevOps (advantageous).

• Strong multitasking ability across projects.

• Creative problem solver with alternative solution-thinking capability.

• Valid Code 08 driver’s licence.
