POSITION INFO:
Company and Job Description: An established organisation based in Germiston is looking for a Senior Tax Consultant \/ Accountant to join its team. This is not a purely back-office accounting position. While you will utilise your technical accounting and tax experience , an important part of your role will be engaging with clients, developing relationships and contributing towards business development and the growth of the client portfolio . The opportunity would suit someone who has completed their articles and wants to build a broader career combining technical finance expertise with commercial and client-facing exposure . Key Responsibilities: Provide accounting and tax-related services Assist with tax compliance and related requirements Manage accounting responsibilities and client deliverables Build and maintain strong client relationships Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships Participate actively in business development Engage with prospective clients and assist in generating new business Provide professional financial and tax-related support to clients Maintain high standards of accuracy, compliance and client service Job Experience and Skills Required: Education: Relevant Finance \/ Accounting degree Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles Experience: Completed articles OR approximately 1 year post-articles experience Practical accounting and\/or tax experience Client-facing exposure advantageous Interest and ability to participate in business development Skills: Accounting and taxation Client relationship management Strong communication and interpersonal skills Commercial awareness Business development mindset Ability to identify and develop new client opportunities Apply now!
