Senior Tax Lawyer

POSITION INFO:
This position offers exposure to diverse legal and tax advisory matters, including cross-border corporate structuring and compliance with international tax frameworks. You will work closely with senior professionals on high-level advisory engagements, sharpening your technical legal writing and problem-solving skills. If you enjoy interpreting legislation, producing well-reasoned legal opinions, and advising on sophisticated international tax matters, this role will allow you to grow your expertise while contributing to strategic client solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft comprehensive legal opinions, advisory memorandums, and correspondence on complex tax matters
• Advise clients on corporate tax, transfer pricing, and international tax issues, including Pillar 2 compliance
• Interpret tax legislation, case law, and regulatory updates to develop defensible legal positions
• Participate in client consultations, providing actionable and pragmatic legal advice
• Prepare structured documentation and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality advisory services
• Maintain accurate engagement records and support administrative processes where required

• Law Degree (LLB or equivalent) - admission as an attorney or advocate highly advantageous
• 5+ years’ experience in tax advisory within a law firm, professional services firm, or corporate legal environment
• Proven experience drafting technical legal opinions and advisory memorandums
• Exposure to corporate tax, transfer pricing, and international tax advisory, including Pillar 2 considerations
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to apply legislation to complex real-world scenarios
• Exceptional written communication and legal drafting capabilities
• Ability to prepare professional presentations and well-structured advisory documentation
