Our client is looking for a Senior Technical Manager to join their Group Finance team - a strategic, analytical powerhouse who can own the Group’s reporting outputs end‑to‑end. You’ll step into a role with significant influence at Group level, partnering with senior leadership and shaping the organisation’s financial narrative. POSITION INFO:

What You’ll Lead & Deliver
Full Group Consolidation process for a complex, multi‑entity insurance group
Preparation of Group Annual Financial Statements (AFS)
Delivery of high‑quality Group Management Accounts
Technical accounting analysis, interpretation and implementation
Oversight and development of a small, high‑performing team

What You Bring
Proven track record in Group consolidation
Strong experience in preparing Group AFS & Group Management Accounts
Advanced technical IFRS accounting capability
The ability to lead, coach and uplift a skilled finance team
Preferable:
Insurance industry experience
Exposure to highly regulated, fast‑paced financial environments and reporting processes

Skills & Experience:
Strong technical knowledge in group reporting and consolidation
Prior experience in the insurance industry is highly advantageous
Skilled in preparing reports and working with multiple stakeholders across finance, actuarial, and audit teams
Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage high-volume consolidations efficiently
A proactive mindset, with a passion for process improvement and automation
