JOB SUMMARY:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client is looking for an experienced senior technical sales rep to be based in the Secunda area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Promote the relevant products and demonstrate clearly how the products are in conjunction with the clients needs;
Maintain a good understanding of the market, competitor offerings, general intelligence and identifying new opportunities;
Ensuring sales target are consistently met;
Support client with technical advice;
Identify and resolve client concerns; recommending a course of action to alleviate these concerns in the future;

CLIENT PRODUCT CRITERIA:

Portable gas detectors;
Fixed gas detectors;
Alcohol and drug testing detectors;
Alcohol ignition interlock;
Respiratory protection;
Hazmat suits;
Head and eye protection;
Rescue and escape products;
Thermal imaging cameras;
Diving equipment;
Fire simulation systems and training galleries;

REQUIREMENTS:

Strong technical skills;
Research and analytical skills;
Organizational skills;
Communication skills, including the ability to explain clearly and listen to the feedback of clients;
The ability to negotiate with and influence others;
Previous experience selling to Sasol or working with Sasol as a client a must;
Self driven and motivated individual;
A proven track record in sales and support;

QUALIFICATIONS:

Technical or trade qualification;
Sales related qualification;
5-10 years experience;
Sasol PPE sales experience will be advantageous;
