SUMMARY:
An exciting start-up with global coverage of services to Network Carriers is looking for a skilled individual who will be responsible for the support, engineering, designing, deploying, managing, and supporting the core infrastructure and customer integrations.

POSITION INFO:

Support New and Existing Carrier Integrations
Technical lead for production incidents
Resolve interruptions and outages, supporting in-country representatives, carrier technical teams and vendors
Testing new tools, developing operational monitoring requirements
Routine system inspections and maintenance
Keep infrastructure and network documentation and procedures up-to-date
Review projects documents from the project delivery team
Drive and implement automation initiatives for system maintenance efforts
Be ready to support the service during non-business hours

MUST HAVE

Minimum 6 years + experience in the following areas:

Session Border Controller Products (e.g. Cisco, Ribbon, Dialogik etc.)
Policy and Translation Rules (e.g. Routing Paths, Priority, Admission Control)
Carrier Billing Platforms
TCP and UDP Protocols
SIP/SIPI Carrier Infrastructure
Protocols: SIP, H.323, QoS, DHCP, SNMP, SS7, ISUP, ISDN/PRI, Routing (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP)
Codecs - G.729, G.711, OPUS
Tools/Monitoring: Wireshark, PING, Traceroute

Knowledge preferred:

Cloud: AWS
Development: JavaScript, Python
Appliances (e.g. Cisco): core/edge routing/switching applications/hardware and/or SIP/TDM Gateways
ACME: Session Border Controller and Translation Services
