SUMMARY:
A Vacancy exists for a 3X Senior Technicians – Vodacom Campus in the Technical Division based in Gauteng

The suitable candidate’s main responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

POSITION INFO:

Installation and Maintenance of Electronic Security Equipment;
Regular communication and development of a good relationship with client;
Attention to detail on all aspects of relevant responsibilities
Adhering to the Agreement between the client and the company;
Adhering to Health and Safety regulations;
Feedback to SLA Manager;
Problem Solving;
Project Management of small projects;
Management and Control of Documentation, including Registers, Overtime and Route Sheets;
Submission of fault reports on the system;
Revision of Work in Progress reports and the financial implications thereof;
Available to be on standby if and when required;

Preferred qualifications/attributes/skills:

Grade 12 or equivalent qualification;
PSIRA certification;
Valid Driver’s license;
Proven track record in the Electronics Security Industry;
Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record;
Sound knowledge/experience and understanding of Access Control, Intrusion Detection and IP surveillance systems;
Strong network knowledge would be advantageous;
Relevant experience in SQL would be advantageous;
Relevant certification/experience on Avigilon;
Relevant certification/experience on Milestone
Relevant certification/experience on Prowatch:
Relevant certification/experience on Risco;
Relevant certification/experience on Fire systems (Ziton ZP2);
Relevant certification/experience on Gallager;
Excellent security equipment installation skills;
Excellent trouble shooting and fault-finding skills;
Excellent written & verbal communication and skills;
A good working knowledge of MS Office;
