SUMMARY:
Our client in the Information & Communications Technology (ICT) sector is looking for a Senior UX / Product Designer on contract duration of 6 months.

Role Purpose

The Senior UX / Product Designer is responsible for defining and designing the end-to-end user experience for DataCo’s external client portal and insight-consumption platforms. This role ensures that complex data, analytics and AI-driven insights are translated into intuitive, accessible and engaging digital experiences for customers and internal stakeholders. The role is currently unowned across the organisation and establishes a consistent UX and product design foundation for all insight delivery channels.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Design end-to-end user experiences for external client portals, dashboards and insight consumption platforms. Translate complex data, analytics outputs, ML insights and AI-generated outputs into intuitive user journeys and interfaces. Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews and usability testing to inform product design decisions. Develop wireframes, prototypes, user flows and high-fidelity designs aligned to business and customer needs. Define and maintain UX standards, design systems and interaction patterns across digital products. Collaborate with Product Owners, Full-Stack Developers, API Developers and Solution Architects to deliver user-centred solutions. Ensure consistent design language across portals, dashboards, APIs and AI-driven interfaces. Work closely with data and analytics teams to ensure insights are presented in a meaningful and actionable way. Champion accessibility, usability and responsive design principles across all products. Validate delivered solutions against user expectations and iterate based on feedback and usage data. Contribute to the strategic definition of the customer experience for DataCo's insight and monetisation platforms. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Information Systems or a related field. 5-10 years' experience in UX Design, Product Design or Digital Experience Design roles. Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX\/UI design for complex digital products or enterprise platforms. Experience designing dashboards, analytics platforms or data-driven applications is highly advantageous. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD or similar. Experience conducting user research, usability testing and applying design thinking methodologies. Understanding of front-end development constraints (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is advantageous. Experience working in Agile product teams is preferred.
